Misholach Manot/Purim Cooking
One of the nicest traditions on Purim is sending gifts of food to friends, called Mishloach Manot. In this interactive class, we’ll create traditional as well as contemporary goodies to celebrate Purim. We’ll also discuss decorative and creative packaging.

Family Misholoach Manot Workshop
One of the nicest traditions on Purim is sending gifts of food to friends, called Mishloach Manot. Bring the family to this interactive workshop as we create delicious gifts and cards with Rebecca Ets-Hokin. We’ll be making Hamentaschen, and other treats, decorating containers to put our gifts in and creating lovely cards.

Do-Ahead Passover Seder
Learn how to prepare the Passover Seder entirely in advance. The delicious menu combines traditional favorites with contemporary innovations, drawing from American, Sephardi and Ashkenazi cuisines. We will also discuss cleaning and koshering your house for Passover, the Haggadah, the Seder plate, Kosher for Passover foods and resources to guide you easily through the spring holiday. Some of the dishes you will prepare include Matzo Ball Soup, California Gefilte Fish, Mixed Vegetable Tsimmis, Pavlova and Viennese Chocolate Truffle Torte. Students will receive written recipes and get to taste lots of samples!
